Brief info
Alexis M. Pelosi served as the Senior Advisor for Climate in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) during the Biden-Harris Administration. In this role, she oversaw and led HUD's climate policy work, helping to build resilient communities, advance climate-resilient and energy efficient homes and empower communities to invest in climate-readiness and resiliency. She built critical internal, external and interagency partnerships and collaborations and created opportunities to expand HUD's climate work and advance the Administration's climate priorities.
Prior to joining HUD, Alexis spent 20+ years working on complex real estate development projects throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. She has a law degree from Berkeley Law and a masters in environmental science from Johns Hopkins University.
